Description
The Speech and Language Center in Sterling, Virginia is seeking a Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our growing multidisciplinary team! We provide Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, and ABA services in one collaborative setting, allowing our clinicians to work together to provide comprehensive, whole-child care.
The Speech and Language Center is proud to be part of Cicero Therapies, a family of pediatric therapy practices united by a shared commitment to providing exceptional care while investing in the clinicians who make that care possible. As a Public Benefit Company, Cicero Therapies measures success not only by business performance, but by the positive impact we have on children, families, team members, and the communities we serve. Our purpose is to help every child take their next steps while fostering a workplace where clinicians can learn, grow, and build meaningful careers.
At The Speech and Language Center, we believe every child deserves to be understood, respected, and celebrated for who they are. Our therapists embrace a compassionate, child-led, neurodiversity-affirming approach that honors each child's unique strengths, interests, sensory needs, and learning styles. We partner closely with families to create meaningful, individualized goals that help children participate more fully in everyday activities and routines.
As a Pediatric Occupational Therapist, you'll evaluate and treat children with a variety of developmental, sensory, fine motor, visual motor, self-care, and emotional regulation needs while collaborating with an exceptional team of SLPs, PTs, and BCBAs. This is an excellent opportunity for a clinician who values relationship-based care, interdisciplinary collaboration, and empowering children to reach their fullest potential.
We care deeply about our team and the people who make it exceptional. Our interview process is designed to help you get to know us just as much as we get to know you.
The first step is a video or phone conversation with a member of our recruiting team. We encourage you to use this time to ask questions, learn about our culture, and determine whether The Speech and Language Center is the right fit for your professional goals.
Candidates selected to move forward will be invited for an in-person interview, where they'll meet members of our clinical team—your potential future coworkers—and may have the opportunity to observe a therapy session. We want you to leave the interview with a clear understanding of our collaborative culture, clinical philosophy, and the meaningful impact our therapists make every day.
If you're looking for a practice that values compassionate, child-led care, embraces neurodiversity, believes in interdisciplinary collaboration, and is backed by a mission-driven organization committed to making a positive impact, we'd love to meet you!
