Job summary

MAB Community Services is seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our Vision Rehabilitation team. This per diem role delivers services in clients' homes to maximize independence, safety, and quality of life.

Responsibilities include vision rehab, home safety assessments, adaptive equipment recommendations, and caregiver collaboration, with potential benefits and paid time included where applicable.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Massachusetts OT license and ability to practice.
• Driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Two years of clinical experience preferred.
• Experience with vision/low-vision rehabilitation or home health preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct functional vision rehabilitation and home safety assessments.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and interventions.
• Provide training in compensatory strategies and low-vision techniques.
• Collaborate with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams; document care.
