Total Education Solutions (TES) is seeking a part-time School-Based Occupational Therapist to support Almansor Academy in South Pasadena, CA. This 20 hours/week role offers in-person OT services to students with IEPs and collaboration with teachers to support accessibility and engagement.

You will conduct assessments, write evaluations, set measurable goals, and attend IEP meetings, all while maintaining accurate logs and supporting PBIS-based school culture.

Qualifications

• Licensed Occupational Therapist in California.
• Experience providing OT services in school settings.
• Experience writing IEP evaluation reports and progress notes.
• Ability to collaborate with teachers, paraprofessionals and behavior staff.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct, in-person OT services to students with IEPs (grades 2–12+).
• Conduct OT assessments and write evaluation reports for IEPs.
• Develop measurable OT goals and write progress reports; attend IEP meetings.
• Maintain service logs and district billing documentation.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff on sensory, fine-motor and self-care strategies in class.
• Consult with families and share practical home strategies.
• Support PBIS-aligned trauma-informed school culture.

Make a Difference as a School-Based Occupational Therapist

Location: Almansor Academy in South Pasadena, CA
Hours: ~20 hours/week
Pay: $44.50 - $52.47/hr

We're looking for a compassionate and skilled OT to provide support for one of our school campuses. This is a part-time role—perfect for someone who wants to stay connected to the field while maintaining a flexible schedule.

• Provide direct, in-person occupational therapy services to students with IEPs in grades 2–12+, individually and in small groups, according to IEP service minutes.
• Conduct OT assessments and write evaluation reports for initial, annual, and triennial IEPs.
• Develop measurable OT goals, write progress reports, and attend IEP meetings as a member of the IEP team.
• Maintain accurate service logs and documentation in SEIS/Welligent in line with district contract and billing requirements.
• Collaborate with teachers, paraprofessionals, and behavior staff on sensory, fine-motor, and self-care strategies and accommodations in the classroom.
• Consult with families and give caregivers practical strategies to support their child's progress at home.
• Support a positive, trauma-informed school culture aligned with PBIS and Almansor Academy's behavioral support model.
