Job summary

Temporary Staffing Professionals is seeking an Occupational Therapist to support students in a school setting in Hampton County, SC. The OT will work directly with students, building meaningful relationships and helping develop fine motor, sensory, self-care, and classroom participation skills.

The role involves evaluations, goal setting, progress monitoring, and collaboration with teachers, families, and other professionals.

Qualifications

• Active South Carolina OT license/credential
• Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy
• Experience with children or adolescents preferred
• School-based or special education experience is a plus
• Knowledge of pediatric occupational therapy, sensory processing, and developmental needs
• Strong communication, collaboration, organization, and documentation skills
• Compassionate, patient, and committed to helping students succeed
• Ability to meet all applicable school, licensing, and employment requirements

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services to students individually and in small groups
• Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify OT needs
• Develop and implement individualized treatment goals and interventions
• Support fine motor, gross motor, sensory processing, and visual-motor skills
• Help students develop functional self-care and classroom participation skills
• Monitor and document student progress toward goals
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, families, and related service providers
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student programming and goals
• Recommend strategies, accommodations, and adaptive equipment to support student success
• Maintain student confidentiality and follow school and policy requirements

TSP Ed Co is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team and support students in a school setting in Hampton County, SC.

This is a great opportunity for an OT who enjoys working directly with students, building meaningful relationships, and helping children develop the fine motor, sensory, self-care, and functional skills they need to be successful at school.

What You'll Do

• Providing occupational therapy services to students individually and/or in small groups
• Conducting evaluations and assessments to identify students' occupational therapy needs
• Developing and implementing individualized treatment goals and interventions
• Supporting students with fine motor, gross motor, sensory processing, and visual-motor skills
• Helping students develop functional, self-care, and classroom participation skills
• Monitoring and documenting student progress toward individualized goals
• Collaborating with teachers, special education staff, families, and other related service providers
