Job summary

Commonwealth Health in Scranton, PA seeks a full-time Occupational Therapist to evaluate and formulate treatment plans, set rehabilitation goals with patients, and provide therapy across a range of conditions.

You will educate families, collaborate with the care team, and perform duties as assigned by supervisor. Requires degree in OT and PA state licensure or eligibility, plus CPR.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Must hold or be eligible for licensure with the Pennsylvania State Board of Occupational Therapy.
• Current CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and formulate treatment plans and rehabilitation goals with patients.
• Provide therapeutic interventions to patients with injuries or illnesses.
• Educate patients' family members to support functional goals.
• Perform duties as assigned by Supervisor/Director.

Position Purpose

Evaluates and formulates treatment plans, establishes rehabilitation goals with the patient, provides treatment to patients experiencing difficulties, injuries or diseases; educates patients' family members to assist the patient in achieving the maximal functional performance and enhancing the quality of life. Performs all duties as assigned by Supervisor and/or Director.
