Gallowayhc is seeking an Occupational Therapist to manage patient rehabilitation within an interdisciplinary team in a healthcare setting. The role emphasizes evaluative and planning responsibilities to meet facility, state, federal, and accrediting standards.
Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree in PT/OT or a master’s in SLP with equivalent certification and be licensed as an Occupational Therapist (PA or related). Travel to other facilities may be required.
Occupational Therapist
The therapist’s overall responsibility is to manage the care of the patient/resident, managing quality of all related outcomes. The therapist participates as an integral part of the interdisciplinary team, manages resources to meet the needs of the patient/resident and related customers balancing outcomes and cost effective and efficient treatment.
Education: Graduate of an accredited college or university with minimally a bachelor’s degree in physical therapy or occupational therapy, or a master’s degree in speech-language pathology and/or equivalent certification accepted by the designated professional accrediting body.
Licensure: Actively licensed as an Occupational Therapist in Pennsylvania or related health care profession.
