Job summary

Therapy World LLC in Rock Hill, SC is seeking a passionate Occupational Therapist to join our growing team. You will evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans to help them regain independence and improve quality of life.

You will collaborate with physicians, physical therapists, and speech-language pathologists, document progress, and participate in discharge planning. A Master's or Doctoral degree and SC OT licensure are required or pending NBCOT certification.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current OT licensure in the state of South Carolina (or eligibility to obtain).
• NBCOT certification required or in process.
• Previous clinical experience in a relevant care setting preferred.
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients, families, and care teams.
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to therapy and care delivery.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' physical, cognitive, and functional abilities to develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement evidence-based occupational therapy interventions to improve patients' daily living and work skills.
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams including physicians, physical therapists, and speech-language pathologists.
• Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic techniques, adaptive equipment, and home exercise programs.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Participate in discharge planning and community reintegration efforts.
