Job summary

Home Health of Western Colorado is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) to serve patients in Montrose, CO. The position requires travel between patient homes and offers full-time, Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts with competitive pay.

The organization emphasizes compassionate care, career growth, and a supportive team environment. Licensure in Colorado and a valid driver’s license are required, alongside at least one year of OT experience.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed or registered in the state of Colorado as an Occupational Therapist.
• Graduate from an Occupational Therapy curriculum or eligible for certification by the AOTA.
• Minimum of one year experience as an Occupational Therapist.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and access to transportation.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates clients and provides Occupational Therapy upon written physician order.
• Manages and supervises assistants and aides in direct client care.
• Plans, coordinates, and evaluates OT services including scheduling and transport.
• Performs other duties as directed by the Director of Clinical Services.

Pay Range: $45.75 - $50.35 per hour based on experience.
Schedule: Fulltime, Monday - Friday, 8-hour shifts.

*This position requires travel between patient homes.

What You Bring (Requirements)

• Must be licensed or registered in the state of Coloardo as an Occupational Therapist.
• Graduate from an Occupational Therapy curriculum accredited jointly by the Council on Medical Education and Hospitals of the American Medical Association and the American Occupational Therapy Association or is eligible for certification by the American Occupational Therapy Association under its requirements.
• A minimum of one year experience as an Occupational Therapist.
• Must have a valid driver’s license, proof of insurance and have means of transportation.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

• Evaluates clients and provides Occupational Therapy upon the written order of the client‘s attending physician.
• Manages and supervises the Occupational Therapy assistants and/or rehabilitation aides in direct client care and client-related activities.
• Plans, implements, coordinates and evaluates the Occupational Therapy offered by the department (i.e.: assist with scheduling, transportation, filing, and mailing).
• Performs other duties or special assignments as directed by the Director of Clinical Services.
• Comply with the Occupational Therapy Practice Act in the state.
