Job summary

Providence Portland Medical Center is seeking an Occupational Therapist for a part-time, variable shift, temporary position in Portland. The role focuses on administering skilled OT services, evaluating patients, and collaborating with care teams to maximize independence and functional outcomes.

The successful candidate will hold an OT degree(s), be eligible for Oregon licensure upon hire, and meet Basic Life Support requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s/Ph.D. in Occupational Therapy or equivalent education/experience.
  • Oregon OT license upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and provide skilled occupational therapy to patients/clients with diverse diagnoses and disabilities.
  • Conduct patient/client evaluations and formulate treatment plans.
  • Provide professional consultations to achieve maximum independence consistent with each patient’s level and potential.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy
Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy
Ph.D. in Occupational Therapy or equivalent

Occupational Therapist (part - time, variable shift, temporary position) at Providence Portland Medical Center

Manages and provides skilled occupational therapy to patients/clients with a wide variety of diagnoses and disabilities, taking into account individual patient's special physical or age-related needs. Requires skills in patient/client evaluation and treatment, as well as professional consultations to achieve maximum patient/client independence in accordance with individual's functional level and potential.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Program, or
  • Master's Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Program, or
  • Ph.D. from an accredited Occupational Therapy Program, or equivalent educ/experience
  • Coursework/Training: Occasional specialized Occupational Therapy training to meet a particular department need, or equivalent educ/experience
  • Upon hire: Oregon Occupational Therapist License
  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
