The Healthcare Resort of Plano in Plano, TX is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist for a full-time, in-house rehab program. This position offers stability, collaborative care, and opportunities to work with geriatric patients in a post-acute setting.

Responsibilities include screening and evaluating patients, developing care plans, delivering therapeutic interventions, assisting with mobility and wound care, and preparing discharge summaries in compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

• Licensed Occupational Therapist required.
• Open to candidates at all experience levels; new grads welcome.

OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST - FULL TIME

THE HEALTHCARE RESORT OF PLANO - PLANO, TX

The Healthcare Resort of Plano, TX is a post-acute care facility with long-term care, short-term care, and geriatric services provided. We can offer a stable and fun in-house therapy team to work with as well as excellent programs serving our geriatric clientele in their journey to recovery. We are currently seeking a dedicated Full Time Occupational Therapist for our in-house rehab program!

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct effective screening and evaluation of patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, developing appropriate care plans adhering to regulatory and clinical standards.
• Deliver rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, in accordance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• The role involves regular standing and walking throughout the facility and occasional lifting, transferring, and repositioning of patients and equipment. Physical demands vary throughout the day based on patient care needs.
• Administer various procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan, including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, use of supportive and assistive devices, and wound care.
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers regarding physical disorders.
• Generate comprehensive discharge summaries of services provided, ensuring compliance with regulatory and clinical requirements.

Qualifications

Occupational Therapist license is required.

Open to Occupational Therapist at all experience levels. New Grads are welcome!
