• Implement treatment plans and educate treatment staff.
• Provide necessary supervision for COTAs.
• Attend/lead interdisciplinary meetings to discuss findings.
• Work at multiple centers to serve varied patient needs.

Overview

CommuniCare Rehab, a member of the CommuniCare Family of Companies, has a Full Time opening for an Occupational Therapist (OT) at Petersburg Healthcare Center, where our therapists are In-House Team Members. Responsibilities

• Evaluate, screen, and treat facility patients/residents who are in need for Occupational Therapy services.
• Perform patient’s/resident’s evaluation under physician order and develop a treatment plan in accordance with patient’s needs.
• Implement treatment plan through direct treatment, as well as education of treatment staff including therapists and other members of the team involved in the treatment plan.
• Provide necessary supervision for COTAs.
• Attend/Lead interdisciplinary meetings as appropriate to relay clinical findings and make recommendations to other members of rehab team, including family education and consultation.
