CommuniCare Rehab, a member of the CommuniCare Family of Companies, invites an Occupational Therapist to join our in-house team at Berkeley Healthcare Center and Martinsburg Healthcare Center. This full-time split role offers flexibility across locations and the opportunity to impact residents’ quality of life through therapy.

Applicants must hold a Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in OT and a current or pending state license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Hold a valid or pending State Occupational Therapy License.

Responsibilities

• Perform residents' occupational needs evaluation under physician order and develop a treatment plan.
• Implement treatment plan through direct treatment and education of staff involved in the plan.
• Provide supervision for COTAs.
• Attend/lead interdisciplinary meetings to relay clinical findings and recommendations.

Qualifications/Must Have’s:

A Bachelor's, Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from an Accredited Program.

Hold a valid or pending State Occupational Therapy License

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Perform patient’s/resident’s occupational needs evaluation under physician order and develop a treatment plan in accordance with patient’s needs.

Implement treatment plan through direct treatment, as well as education of treatment staff including therapists and other members of team involved in treatment plan.

Provide necessary supervision for COTAs.

Attend/Lead interdisciplinary meetings as appropriate to relay clinical findings and make recommendations to other members of rehab team, including family education and consultation.
