Job summary

A regional healthcare provider in Panama City, Florida is seeking a part-time Occupational Therapist to create and implement individualized treatment plans. The ideal candidate will evaluate physical, cognitive, and psychosocial needs, lead support staff, and educate patients on adaptive strategies. Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree and relevant OT credentials from the Florida Board. Qualifications

  • BLS Provider certification required within 30 days of hire.
  • Occupational Therapy credential from Florida Board required.

How you’ll make an impact in this role
  • Evaluate patients’ physical, cognitive, and psychosocial needs to identify barriers to independence and create personalized recovery goals.
  • Design and implement individualized treatment plans that restore daily living skills, improve functional mobility, and promote safe return to home and community.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust interventions proactively to maximize outcomes and accelerate recovery.
  • Educate patients and caregivers on adaptive strategies and equipment use to build confidence, prevent setbacks, and support long‑term success.
  • Lead and support occupational therapy assistants and technicians to ensure coordinated, high‑quality care aligned with best practice standards.
What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need
  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Occupational Therapy (OT) credentialed from the Florida Board of Occupational Therapy prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Education
  • Bachelor's degree required. Master's OR Doctorate degree preferred.
