How you’ll make an impact in this role
- Evaluate patients’ physical, cognitive, and psychosocial needs to identify barriers to independence and create personalized recovery goals.
- Design and implement individualized treatment plans that restore daily living skills, improve functional mobility, and promote safe return to home and community.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust interventions proactively to maximize outcomes and accelerate recovery.
- Educate patients and caregivers on adaptive strategies and equipment use to build confidence, prevent setbacks, and support long‑term success.
- Lead and support occupational therapy assistants and technicians to ensure coordinated, high‑quality care aligned with best practice standards.
What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Occupational Therapy (OT) credentialed from the Florida Board of Occupational Therapy prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Education
- Bachelor's degree required. Master's OR Doctorate degree preferred.
