PruittHealth is hiring a part-time Occupational Therapist (OT) in Orangeburg, South Carolina. The role involves performing evaluations, creating and implementing therapy plans, and documenting care per policy.

This position is part-time with 1st shift availability and supports ongoing professional growth. The ideal candidate holds a valid OT license in SC, is ACOTE-accredited program-educated, and eligible for NBCOT.

Qualifications

• Valid OT license in the state of practice.
• Graduated from ACOTE-accredited OT program; eligible to take or has passed NBCOT.
• Excellent documentation and adherence to policy.

Responsibilities

• Complete evaluations, assessments, and treatments per the individualized OT care plan.
• Complete all documentation and records timely and accurately.
• Follow established policies and procedures related to OT scope of practice.
• Respond to patient care priorities with initiative and sound judgment.
• Complete orientations, in-services, and trainings on time.
• Perform other related duties as directed by supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Complete evaluations, assessments, and treatments in accordance with policy and the individualized occupational therapy care plan
• Complete all documentation and records in a timely and accurate manner
• Follow established policies and procedures as related to the scope of practice
• Recognize and respond to priorities in patient care showing initiative and sound judgment
• Complete all required orientations, in-services, and trainings successfully and in a timely manner
• Performs other related duties as necessary and as directed by supervisor

Licensure, Certification, And Educational Requirements

• Valid professional OT license in the state of practice
• Graduate of ACOTE accredited school and eligible to take or has passed the NBCOT exams (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy). If foreign-trained, must meet the same qualifications as U.S. educational program requirements
