Job summary

Northwest Nursing Center is seeking an as-needed Occupational Therapist (OT) to screen residents, develop and adjust treatment plans, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team in Oklahoma City, OK. Qualifications

• Must hold a degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Must have an Active Occupational Therapy license in practicing state(s).
• Ongoing continuing education to maintain licensure and certification.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular screening of residents to determine the best intervention or treatment.
• Evaluate residents to inform and develop treatment plans; establish short- and long-term goals.
• Interpret and communicate evaluation findings, treatment plans, and recommendations to residents, families/caregivers, and the interdisciplinary team.
• Establish individual resident therapy schedules in cooperation with other team members.
• Conduct therapy according to established treatment plan and ensure proper documentation and billing of occupational therapy services.
• Perform all other duties as assigned to effectively treat patients.
• Oversee COTA as needed and ensure documentation and treatments are carried out with clinical excellence and proper reimbursement practices.
• Performs other tasks as assigned by the Administrator or Director of Rehabilitation.

Education

Degree in Occupational Therapy

Active OT license in practicing state(s)
