Job summary

Southwest LTC in Tuttle, OK is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist for a full-time day shift. The role involves evaluating residents, developing and implementing therapy plans, and coordinating with the care team.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular screening and evaluation to determine best intervention or treatment for residents.
• Develop treatment plans with short- and long-term goals and methods to achieve them.
• Interpret and communicate evaluation findings, treatment plans, and recommendations to residents, families/caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Establish individual resident therapy schedules in collaboration with other team members.
• Perform occupational therapy services according to established treatment plan and document and bill appropriately.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular screening of residents to figure out the best intervention or treatment for each individual patient
• Evaluate residents to inform and develop treatment plans; establish short- and long-term goals and methods to achieve goals
• Interpret and communicate evaluation findings, treatment plans, and recommendations to residents, families/caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members
• Establish individual resident therapy schedules in cooperation with other team members
• Conduct therapy according to established treatment plan and ensure proper documentation and billing of occupational therapy services
• Perform all other duties as assigned and as required to effectively treat patients
• Oversee COTA as needed and ensure all documentation and treatments are carried out with clinical excellence and proper reimbursement practices are being followed
• Performs other tasks as assigned by the Administrator of the facility or Director of Rehabilitation.
