Job summary

Gaylord Specialty Healthcare is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist to join our outpatient team in North Haven, CT. You will work directly with patients to evaluate their needs, develop individualized treatment plans, and help them improve their function and independence.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy and CT license or eligibility for licensure; some evening hours may be required; schedule is Monday–Friday.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy is required.
• Current Connecticut Occupational Therapy license or eligibility for licensure is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluations to assess patient needs and functional status.
• Develop and implement appropriate treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
• Regularly reassess patients and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Provide education to patients and their families.
• Progress patients toward goals and outcomes that promote improved independence and self-sufficiency.
