Job summary

United Methodist Communities is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist for Bristol Glen, a UMC community, in Newton, NJ. The full-time position offers an hourly pay range of $46.38 to $52.18, based on experience, plus comprehensive benefits and a day shift schedule.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited therapy program.
• Current and active Occupational Therapist license in New Jersey.
• 3-5 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and conduct occupational therapy programs to support patient rehabilitation and functional independence.
• Evaluate patients' physical and mental abilities, analyze medical information, and establish individualized rehabilitation goals.
• Monitor patient progress, document outcomes, and adjust treatment plans as needed to achieve therapeutic goals.
• Develop and implement therapeutic activities that build daily living, work, school, and life-management skills.
• Recommend environmental modifications and adaptive strategies to help patients function safely and effectively.
• Maintain compliance with professional, ethical, and legal standards while delivering high-quality patient care.
