Qualifications

• Valid NY professional license.
• Graduated from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• New graduates welcome.
• Preferred experience with rehab in skilled nursing facilities.

• Oversees Physical Therapy Assistants providing guidance, discussing progress and monitoring clinical interventions/skills.
• Provides skilled services and interventions using various techniques that are needed to achieve patient’s goals.
• Follows all regulations and guidelines of facility including compliance with confidentiality and HIPAA.
• Adheres to discussed scheduled hours and conducts self in a professional manner at all times.
• Provides skilled documentation of patient’s condition, and provide caregiver/patient education, progress and need for services.
• Ensures safe treatment practices and monitors patient’s engagement and responses to treatment, modifies as necessary.
