Job summary

Simply Innovative Therapies is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide pediatric services for Early Intervention (birth–3) and school-age students across home, school, and community settings on Long Island.

You will evaluate and treat children with developmental delays, sensory processing challenges, and fine motor/visual-motor deficits, enabling participation in daily routines and academic tasks.

Qualifications

• Current New York State Occupational Therapist license
• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Pediatric experience preferred; EI and/or school-based experience a plus
• Ability to pass required background checks and clearances
• Strong communication, organization, and clinical reasoning skills

Responsibilities

• Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for EI and school-age students
• Provide direct occupational therapy services in home-based EI and school-based or community settings
• Address fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care, play, and functional participation
• Collaborate with families, teachers, and related service providers to support carryover of skills
• Complete required documentation including evaluations, session notes, and progress reports
• Provide consultation and strategies to caregivers and school staff as appropriate
• Maintain ethical and professional standards in accordance with New York State and AOTA guidelines

The OccupationalTherapist will collaborate with families, educators, servicecoordinators, and interdisciplinary team members to ensureconsistent and effective service delivery across environments.
