A leading healthcare provider in Los Angeles seeks an Occupational Therapist to evaluate and treat patients, develop treatment plans, and work closely with families and rehabilitation teams. The role requires a valid California OT license and involves supervising assistants. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills and a customer service focus, ensuring high-quality patient care in an outpatient clinic environment.
Occupational Therapist (“OT”) evaluates and treats patients, communicates with their families, physicians, and other health team members, maintains all necessary documentation of services in the patient’s medical records, and coordinates patient discharges. Treatments will include training in daily living activities, functional skills, motor development, compensation techniques, use of adaptive equipment and splinting. OT will also test and evaluate patients’ physical and mental abilities, analyze rehabilitation goals, and consult with the rehab team in order to coordinate the most effective occupational therapy program.

Physical and Mental Requirements

Ability to stand and/or work 80% of an 8-hour shift. Ability to bend, reach, squat, move as required by patient treatment plans. Ability to travel, as required. Ability to operate standard rehabilitation therapy equipment. Visual and hearing acuity to perform job-related functions. See projects through to completion.

Salary Range: $45.00 to $52.00
