Job summary

Boothby Therapy Services seeks a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) for a full-time, school-based role in Laconia, NH. The position supports K–12 students in a public/special education setting for the 2026-2027 year.

You will evaluate, plan, and implement OT services, collaborate with educators and therapists, and help students develop fine motor, sensory, executive function, and ADL skills within a supportive school environment.

Qualifications

• Active New Hampshire OT license required.
• Degree in Occupational Therapy (BS/MS/OTD).
• Experience or interest in pediatrics or school-based therapy.

Responsibilities

• Provide school-based occupational therapy services to students.
• Conduct OT evaluations and assessments.
• Develop and implement IEP goals.
• Deliver direct therapy (individual and small group).
• Collaborate with teachers, SPED staff, PTs, and SLPs.

Boothby Therapy Services is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) for a school-based position in Laconia, NH. This is a full-time position for the 2026-2027 school year supporting students in a public school / special education setting.

• Hours: Full-Time
• Pay: $40–$50 per hour (based on experience)
• Setting: School-based / Public school (K–12)

Key Responsibilities – Occupational Therapist (OT)

• Provide school-based occupational therapy services to students
• Conduct OT evaluations and assessments
• Develop and implement IEP (Individualized Education Program) goals
• Deliver direct therapy (individual and small group sessions)
• Support students with:
  • Fine motor skills and handwriting
  • Sensory processing and sensory integration
  • Executive functioning and organization
  • Activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, PTs, and SLPs
• Recommend accommodations, adaptive equipment, and assistive technology
• Participate in IEP meetings and team discussions
• Maintain documentation, progress notes, and compliance records

Qualifications – Occupational Therapist (OT)

• Active New Hampshire Occupational Therapist license (required)
• Degree in Occupational Therapy (Bachelor's, Master's, or OTD)
• Experience or interest in pediatrics, school-based therapy, or special education
