Flagship Therapy is seeking a Full Time Occupational Therapist in Knoxville, TN. The role involves screening, evaluating, and treating patients with physical functioning disorders and wounds, following regulatory and clinical standards.

We offer a flexible full-time schedule. Open to new grads with opportunities for growth. Relevant licensure is required to practice.

Qualifications

• Licensure as an Occupational Therapist is required.
• Open to OTs at all experience levels; new grads welcome.

Responsibilities

• Screening and evaluation of patients with physical functioning disorders and wound care; develop care plans.
• Deliver rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary interventions per regulatory and clinical standards.
• Stand/walk regularly; assist with transfers and repositioning as needed.
• Administer procedures as part of rehabilitation plan including manual techniques, ambulation, exercises, modalities, devices, wound care.
• Provide counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other providers.
• Generate discharge summaries complying with regulatory and clinical requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct effective screening and evaluation of patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, developing appropriate care plans adhering to regulatory and clinical standards.
• Deliver rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, in accordance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• The role involves regular standing and walking throughout the facility and occasional lifting, transferring, and repositioning of patients and equipment. Physical demands vary throughout the day based on patient care needs.
• Administer various procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan, including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, use of supportive and assistive devices, and wound care.
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers regarding physical disorders.
• Generate comprehensive discharge summaries of services provided, ensuring compliance with regulatory and clinical requirements.

Qualifications

• Occupational Therapist license is required.
• Open to OTs at all experience levels. New Grads are welcome!
