Job summary

Centerpoint Medical Center is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our team. You will assess patients, design and implement individualized therapy plans, and work across acute care, inpatient rehab, and outpatient settings to maximize functional outcomes.

You will supervise therapy assistants, educate patients and families, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care. New graduates are welcome to apply; licensure is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy (Master’s Degree preferred).
• State of Practice Occupational Therapy License.
• BLS certification required upon hire.
• New graduates from accredited schools may apply.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and establish appropriate treatment goals and programs for patients in Acute care, Inpatient Rehab, and/or Outpatient.
• Coordinate the treatment program with other clinical/therapeutic services.
• Develop comprehensive goals for treatment to maximize patient outcomes.
• Deliver care and modify the care plan in accordance with the patient’s needs.
• Serve as an educator to patients, families, students and colleagues.
