School Occupational Therapists work with school staff, students, and parents to facilitate student participation and occupational performance in a variety of learning environments. 10. Observes student engagement and provides strategies and evidence-based therapeutic intervention to facilitate student participation and occupational performance with adaptations/modifications.
11. Strives to improve and optimize student performance in a variety of learning environments through adaptations/modifications.
12. Completes and maintains required records and/or documentation of services provided.
13. Teaches, monitors and collaborates with educational personnel, community agencies, parents, and students regarding occupational therapy and individual needs in order to increase understanding and student performance.
14. Provides continuing education and in-service for educational personnel.
15. Performs all other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Working Conditions

1. Work involves frequent disruptions of daily schedule.
2. Work requires travel to a variety of assigned schools to provide services to children.
