Job summary

Angels Care Home Health is seeking an Occupational Therapist to assess and plan care for patients in the Gainesville, TX area. You will document plans of care, progress notes, and adjust the Plan of Care as evaluations progress, while applying infection control standards.

The role requires current OT licensure, at least two years of experience, and up-to-date CPR/Hepatitis profiles. A vehicle allowance and on-call pay accompany the salary, with comprehensive benefits and PTO.

Qualifications

• Licensed Occupational Therapist with current state license.
• Minimum two years of OT experience.
• CPR and Hepatitis profile up to date.
• Knowledge of durable medical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical assessment; identify patient needs and appropriateness of care.
• Document and complete a Plan of Care, progress notes, and other records.
• Revise the Plan of Care based on evaluation and ongoing assessment.
• Apply infection control and universal precautions in patient care.
• Accept clinical assignments aligned with education and competence.
• Use interpersonal skills to facilitate team communication.
• Assess physical, social, and cultural aspects of the patient’s environment.
