Job summary

Express Employment International is seeking a Licensed Occupational Therapist for positions in Pinellas and Pasco County, FL. The role supports home health settings with flexible per-diem scheduling and weekly pay.

Responsibilities include comprehensive patient assessments, hands-on therapy to improve ADLs and mobility, patient and family education, thorough documentation, and collaboration with the care team. Requires active OT license and CPR/BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Licensed Occupational Therapist
• Graduate of an OT accredited program
• Minimum 1 year OT experience (home health or related setting)
• Current BLS/CPR certification and TB test

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical, cognitive, and functional abilities to develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide hands-on therapy to improve ADLs, mobility, and independence, including therapeutic exercises and environmental modifications
• Educate patients and families on strategies to manage conditions and maximize independence and quality of life
• Document patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes accurately and timely
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
• Stay up-to-date with the latest research and advancements in occupational therapy practice

Requirements

• Licensed Occupational Therapist
• Graduated from an OT educational accredited program
• One year of recent OT experience, preferably in home health or another relevant setting (rehab, acute care, outpatient)
• Current BLS/CPR certification TB test
