Job summary

Madison Pointe Care Center is seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist to join our skilled nursing and rehabilitation team. You will provide skilled OT services, conduct assessments, set goals, and collaborate with other professionals to support comprehensive resident care.

Applicants must hold a Florida OT license and a degree from an accredited program. Knowledge of PDPM, LTC programming, and OT scope of practice is expected, along with the ability to navigate Net Health and Point Click Care.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Provide skilled Occupational therapy to residents, including assessments, treatments, and goal development

• Document all patient interactions and outcomes in a clear and concise manner

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive resident care

• Maintain a positive and empathetic attitude, promoting a warm and caring environment

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to continuously improve resident outcomes and care

Requirements:

• Valid Florida professional license as an Occupational Therapist

• Accepting new and seasoned therapists

• Must have a degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program

• Must be knowledgeable of PDPM, LTC programing and OT scope of practice

• Ability to quickly learn and navigate Net Health and Point Click Care
