Job summary

Madison Pointe Care Center in Florida is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to join our skilled nursing and rehabilitation team. You will provide skilled occupational therapy services to residents, perform assessments, and develop goals to maximize residents’ potential.

You will document outcomes, collaborate with other professionals, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives in a supportive, growth-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Valid Florida professional license as an Occupational Therapist.
• Accepting new and seasoned therapists.
• Must have a degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Must be knowledgeable of PDPM, LTC programming and OT scope of practice.
• Ability to quickly learn and navigate Net Health and Point Click Care.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled Occupational therapy to residents, including assessments, treatments, and goal development.
• Document all patient interactions and outcomes in a clear and concise manner.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive resident care.
• Maintain a positive and empathetic attitude, promoting a warm and caring environment.
