Job summary

Angels Care Home Health in Clermont, FL is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to assess patients, develop and update plans of care, and coordinate therapy services. The role is full-time with comprehensive benefits and competitive compensation.

The OT will participate in infection control, document progress notes, collaborate with the care team, and support patient independence. Strong communication and knowledge of durable medical equipment are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Current state license as an Occupational Therapist.
• Two years of experience as an Occupational Therapist.
• Current CPR and Hepatitis profile.
• Knowledge of durable medical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical assessment and identify patient needs and appropriateness of care.
• Document, prepare, and complete a Plan of Care, progress notes, and other clinical records on an ongoing basis.
• Revise the Plan of Care based on evaluation and ongoing assessment.
• Apply infection control concepts and universal precautions in coordinating patient care.
• Accept clinical assignments consistent with education and competence to care for patients.
• Use effective interpersonal relations and communication skills; support team communication.
• Assess physical, social, and cultural components of the patient’s occupational environment.
