Kadima Rehabilitation & Nursing at Greenville is seeking an energetic Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) to join our care team in Pennsylvania. New grads welcome; you will evaluate, treat, and document patient progress within an interdisciplinary setting.

You will screen, implement treatment plans, collaborate with families and staff, and maintain licensure and compliance while contributing to facility rehab goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or higher required.

Responsibilities

• Optimizes physical abilities and skills of patients in facilities by: assisting in protocols of screening (ensures alignment with treatment plans).
• Implements evaluations of patients to assess progress and needs.
• Delivers treatment to achieve identified objectives according to the established treatment plan.
• Accurately documents progress toward objectives and communicates patient status to patient and family.
• Expands and enhances clinical expertise and professional skills through collaboration with managers and staff.
• Maintains licensure and participates in continuing education as required.
• Submits billing, payroll and expenses accurately and timely; supports statistics and records updates.
• Adheres to infection control procedures and embraces interdisciplinary care.

Job Responsibilities:

• Optimizes physical abilities and skills of patients in facilities by: assisting in protocols of screening
• Implementing evaluations of patients
• Delivering treatment to achieve identified objectives according to the established treatment plan
• Accurately documenting progress toward objectives and communicating patient status and needs to the patient, the patient's family
• Expanding and enhancing clinical expertise, professional and management skills through interaction with managers and other professional staff
• Self-study, and other continuing education activities; maintaining valid state license/registration/certification (where appropriate)
• Maintain administration requirements by: submitting billing, payroll and expense documentation in an accurate and timely manner, assisting in collection of statistics and updating records; informing appropriate staff and managers of patient progress and facility issues; and contributing to facility rehab goals and plans.
• Comply with infection control procedures and environment safety protocol within a facility. Must embrace the team concept and interdisciplinary care

Education and Qualifications:

• Valid Pennsylvania state license in OT
• Bachelor Degree or higher
