Job summary

UCHealth Memorial Hospital Central in Colorado Springs, CO is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join the Rehab Unit Therapists. This onsite role offers Days shift with a PRN schedule and compensation ranging from $38.72 to $58.08 per hour, depending on experience.

Responsibilities include direct patient care focused on activities of daily living, creating individualized intervention plans, patient and family education, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to achieve

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy required; Master’s preferred.
• Current licensure with the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies to practice Occupational Therapy.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification, or CPR card valid through at least sixty days from hire date.

Responsibilities

• Provide top-of-scope direct patient care with evidence-based interventions focused on daily living and functional independence.
• Create and implement individualized intervention plans to facilitate meaningful activities and recovery.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on conditions, treatment strategies, safety precautions, and proper use of adaptive equipment.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve exceptional patient outcomes and a safe, quality care environment.

Education

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy (Master's preferred)

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification, or CPR card (American Heart Association or American Red Cross) valid through at least sixty days from hire date
