Edward Elmhurst Health’s Elmhurst Hospital is seeking an Occupational Therapist II for a 20-hour weekly role with flexible 2x10 hour days or 8-hour shifts. The OT will evaluate patients, design and implement treatment plans, and use evidence-based methods to promote independence in daily activities in a diverse patient population.

Required are 2 years of acute-care OT experience, an OT degree from an AOTA-accredited program, IL licensure, and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• 2 years' experience as an OT in an acute-care setting.
• OT degree from AOTA-accredited program (Bachelor/Master/Doctorate) or equivalent.
• Illinois OT licensure in good standing.
• Valid driver's license if off-site duties are required.
• CPR certification (AHA BLS for healthcare or Red Cross).

• Evaluate patients and develop/implement individualized treatment plans.
• Deliver evidence-based interventions to promote independence in daily living and functional activities.

If working 8 hour days, will need to work alternating Saturday's* Holidays: will work one winter and one summer holiday**What you will do:**The Occupational Therapist II is responsible for evaluating patients, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and delivering evidence-based interventions that promote independence in daily living and functional activities with advanced level competency. This role collaborates closely with interdisciplinary team members to deliver high quality, patient-centered care across a diverse patient population under the supervision and guidance of rehab services leadership.**What you will need:*** 2 years' experience as an Occupational Therapist in an acute-care setting, preferred* Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an AOTA accredited school, or the equivalent.* Current State of Illinois Occupational Therapist Licensure* A valid driver's license is required if the incumbent is selected to perform related duties at an off site location.
