Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Westover Hills seeks an Occupational Therapy Team Leader who holds an OT license and clinical credentialing. You will lead the OT team, oversee scheduling, orientation, training, and cross-department communication, while delivering direct patient care to support rehabilitation goals.

This role emphasizes compassionate leadership, collaboration with the Director of Therapy Operations, ongoing professional development, and utilizing the latest therapy

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited therapy program.
• Minimum of three years of experience in occupational therapy or leadership, with a minimum of two years of clinical experience.
• Active on Therapy Clinical Ladder or specialty professional certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Therapy Operations in daily operations of the therapy team, including scheduling, orientation, training and cross-department communication.
• Provide direct patient care to support rehabilitation goals and build patient relationships.
• Celebrate patient victories and monitor progress toward recovery.
