Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Panama City is seeking an Occupational Therapist to deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in a community hospital setting. You will provide direct OT services, assess and plan individualized therapies, and collaborate with a supportive team to promote independence and quality of life.

Ideal candidates hold state licensure, CPR certification, and preferably a Master’s Degree (or Bachelor’s with substantial experience).

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CPR certification.
• Master's Degree preferred, or Bachelor’s Degree plus sufficient experience in the field.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to patients needing occupational therapy.
• Guide patients by supervising care and treatments, leading assessments and creating personalized care plans.
• Build meaningful patient relationships by dedicating time to understand physical, mental, and emotional needs for recovery.
