Job summary

Tender Touch Rehab in Maryland is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our growing team.

You will conduct comprehensive OT evaluations, develop treatment plans, obtain orders, and deliver patient-centered care using evidence-based modalities.

Qualifications

• Accredited OT degree required (AOTA recognized).
• Current state license/registration as applicable.
• NBCOT-OTR certification preferred or required per state.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive OT evaluations based on physician orders.
• Develop and implement treatment plans with goals, frequency, duration, and modalities.
• Obtain MD orders for evaluations, treatments, recertifications, and discharges.
• Deliver modalities and modify treatment per patient precautions.
• Complete all documentation requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Occupational Therapist provides a comprehensive OT evaluation based on MD orders.
• Occupational Therapist provides a comprehensive treatment plan including long and short-term goals, frequency, duration, and treatment modalities.
• OT Ensures MD orders are obtained for evaluations, treatments, recertifications, and discharges.
• OT Provides comprehensive treatment to patients utilizing modalities and modify patient treatment as indicated while adhering to precautions.
• Occupational Therapist completes all other documentation requirements.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited university with a B.S., MA, M.S., or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy that is recognized by the AOTA
• Recognized by the NBCOT as a designated OTR (if state-mandated)
• Occupational Therapist holds a current license and/or registration in the state (as applicable)
