Job summary

Taylor Regional Hospital in Kentucky is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our team, providing comprehensive therapy services at our facility. You will assess patients, develop treatments, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a hospital setting.

The position requires a Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy and a valid Kentucky OT license, with new grads welcome. Expect a Monday–Friday daytime schedule and a supportive, patient-centered work environment.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in occupational therapy is required.
• Valid KY OT license is required.
• Experience preferred; new grads welcome.
• Excellent communication skills and patient education.
• Ability to lift over 50 lbs and work in a dynamic hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Interpret functional goals to create therapy objectives.
• Educate patients and families on treatment and home programs.
• Maintain accurate documentation for treatment plans, progress notes, discharges, and evaluations.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, providers, and team members.
• Adhere to hospital policies, HIPAA, and standards of practice.

Position: Occupational Therapist

Location: 100 Medical Park Dr, Suite B- across from Taylor Regional Hospital, Kentucky

Schedule: Fulltime- Monday- Friday 8:00am-4:30pm

What You’ll Do

• Perform assessments and demonstrates proficiency in body mechanics and growth/development of all ages.
• Ability to interpret and identify functional goals and objectives to build treatment plans.
• Provide education and resources to patients and their family.
• Requires the ability to ensure accurate documentation for treatment plans, progress notes, discharges, and evaluations,
• Communicates effectively with patients, families, providers, and other team members.
• Retains accurate knowledge of hospital policies, regulations, and standards of practice for compliance purposes.
• Follows HIPAA compliance.
• Participates in continuous education and best practices.
