Mission Hospital in Asheville, North Carolina is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to evaluate patients, develop care plans and deliver evidence-based interventions aimed at promoting healing and independence. • Monitor patient progress, adjust plans as needed, and ensure thorough, timely documentation reflecting outcomes.
• Educate patients and families to build understanding, confidence, and engagement throughout recovery and beyond.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary partners to ensure seamless transitions of care and safe environments.
• Lead by example, guiding therapy assistants or students and uphold HCA Healthcare’s mission and excellence.

May provide services off-site within the scope of the job description as needed by the department.

What qualifications you will need:

• Required Education: Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy
• Preferred Education: None
• Required License: Current North Carolina license to practice Occupational Therapy
• Preferred License: None
• Required Experience: None required – new graduate eligible
• Preferred Experience: Clinical affiliations having a wide variety of acute care procedures, especially orthopedics, neurology, cardiopulmonary and care of burns/open wounds are helpful.
