Job summary

PruittHealth in Albany, GA is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to evaluate and treat patients as part of a coordinated therapy team. You will document progress and collaborate with a multidisciplinary group to ensure high-quality care and adherence to facility policies.

The role offers up to $130,000 annually based on experience, with a Stay & Earn sign-on bonus, comprehensive benefits, and pathways for growth through merit increases and preceptorship.

Qualifications

• Valid professional OT license in the state of practice.
• Graduate of ACOTE-accredited program and NBCOT eligible or passed.
• Foreign-trained applicants must meet same qualifications as U.S. programs.

Responsibilities

• Complete evaluations, assessments, and treatments per the OT care plan.
• Complete documentation timely and accurately.
• Follow policies and procedures related to scope of practice.
• Recognize and respond to priorities in patient care with initiative.
• Complete orientations, trainings, and in-services timely.
• Perform other duties as directed by supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Complete evaluations, assessments, and treatments in accordance with policy and the individualized occupational therapy care plan
• Complete all documentation and records in a timely and accurate manner
• Follow established policies and procedures as related to the scope of practice
• Recognize and respond to priorities in patient care showing initiative and sound judgment
• Complete all required orientations, in-services, and trainings successfully and in a timely manner
• Performs other related duties as necessary and as directed by supervisor

Qualifications

LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Valid professional OT license in the state of practice
• Graduate of ACOTE accredited school and eligible to take or has passed the NBCOT exams (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy). If foreign-trained, must meet the same qualifications as U.S. educational program requirements
