Qualifications

• Undergraduate or graduate education in safety or occupational health fields.
• 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level in safety/OSH program elements and policy.
• Ability to develop safety standards and advise on hazard controls.

Responsibilities

• Plan and direct occupational safety and health program activities.
• Advise management on safety/health issues and investigations.
• Analyze data on accidents and hazards and recommend corrective actions.
• Serve as Federal Emergency Response Official (FERO) for safety planning.
