NorthBay Health seeks a Board-Certified Occupational Medicine physician to join our Northern California health system. The Occupational Health team focuses on pre-employment and post-injury care in outpatient settings with no call responsibilities, fostering employee health and wellness.

The role emphasizes preventive care, injury management, and a collaborative approach within a multidisciplinary team to support a safe, healthy workforce across industries.

Qualifications

• Provide and manage occupational health services including pre-employment and post-injury care.
• Manage worker’s compensation and injury management.
• Perform physicals and fitness-for-duty evaluations.
• Ensure OSHA/DOT and other regulatory compliance for workplace health and safety.
• Coordinate with employers, case managers, and other providers.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat work-related injuries and illnesses, including musculoskeletal injuries and respiratory conditions.
• Conduct pre-employment physicals, return-to-work assessments, and fitness-for-duty evaluations.
• Provide preventive services, including vaccinations and health promotion initiatives.
• Collaborate with employers and care teams to implement treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records in compliance with regulations.
