Job summary

Lehigh Valley Physician Group (LVPG), part of Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN) and Jefferson Health, seeks a full-time board-certified/board-eligible occupational medicine physician to join our team in Tannersville, PA, in the Pocono Mountains.

You will work within a network of physicians and advanced practice clinicians to perform DOT medical evaluations, MRO duties, and a range of surveillance exams, while evaluating and managing occupational injuries and ergonomic concerns.

Responsibilities

• Perform Department of Transportation (DOT) medical evaluations and Medical Review Officer (MRO) duties.
• Complete pre-placement/pre-employment physicals and other surveillance exams.
• Evaluate, treat and manage occupational injuries, illnesses and exposures.
• Participate in workplace walkthroughs and ergonomic consultations.
• Be supported by a team of APCs, staff and case managers.
• No weekends, no call.
