Jefferson Health and Lehigh Valley Physician Group in Tannersville, PA, seek a Board Certified/Board Eligible Occupational Medicine Physician to join our established team. Monday–Friday schedule with no weekends and no call, competitive compensation, and strong employer relationships.

You will provide DOT exams, MRO responsibilities, pre-employment and surveillance exams, and ergonomic assessments while collaborating with experienced clinicians to deliver outstanding patient care.

Formación

• MD or DO required and board certification/eligibility in Occupational Medicine preferred.
• CDME certification and MRO certification (or willingness to obtain within six months) are valued.
• Eligible for Pennsylvania medical licensure.

• Provide Department of Transportation (DOT) medical examinations.
• Perform Medical Review Officer (MRO) responsibilities.
• Conduct pre-employment and pre-placement physicals and medical surveillance examinations.
• Deliver fitness-for-duty evaluations and manage workers' compensation.
• Offer workplace ergonomic assessments and occupational health consultations.

Your Practice

Provide comprehensive occupational health services including:

• Department of Transportation (DOT) medical examinations
• Medical Review Officer (MRO) responsibilities
• Pre-employment and pre-placement physicals
• Medical surveillance examinations
• Fitness-for-duty evaluations
• Evaluation and treatment of occupational injuries and illnesses
• Workers' compensation management
• Workplace consultations and ergonomic assessments

You’ll be supported by experienced advanced practice clinicians, nurses, case managers, and dedicated office staff, allowing you to focus on delivering outstanding patient care.

Qualifications

• MD or DO
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Occupational Medicine preferred

OR

• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Emergency Medicine with at least three years of Occupational Medicine experience
• Commercial Driver Medical Examiner (CDME) Certification
• Medical Review Officer (MRO) Certification (or willingness to obtain within six months)
• Eligible for Pennsylvania medical licensure
