Job summary

Intermountain Health WorkMed in Layton, UT is seeking a board-certified Occupational Health Physician to join a collaborative group of providers. This full-time role focuses on fitness assessments, pre-employment exams, and acute injury care within a large Intermountain Health system.

The successful candidate will have BC/BE in Occupational Medicine or related fields, completed U.S. ACGME residency/fellowship, and ideally Spanish language skills.

Qualifications

• Board-certified/board-eligible in Occupational Medicine preferred.
• Spanish language skills welcomed but not required.
• U.S. ACGME Residency/Fellowship completion required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct fitness assessments for work examinations and pre-employment physicals.
• Provide acute injury care including repair of lacerations.
• Participate in a collaborative WorkMed clinic with peer support across Intermountain Health.

We are seeking a board-certified Occupational Health Physician to join a collaborative group of providers in Layton,UT at our Intermountain Health Workmed clinic. This is an opportunity to join a Service line made up of 13 Occupational Health clinics in the Intermountain Medical Group with excellent collegiality and peer support. As a part-time provider, we are searching for a physician who is interested in working 4 x 9-hour clinical shifts per week. Our Workmed physicians perform fitness assessments for work examinations, pre-employment physicals, and acute injury care including repair of lacerations.

Job Information:

• One BC/BE Occupational Medicine (preferred), Emergency Medicine, or Family Practice physician needed to work at our Laytonlocation, with an option to flex to some of our other Wormed locations throughout the state of Utah

• Successful completion from U.S. ACGME Residency/Fellowship

• Clinical shifts will be performed on weekdays, Monday through Friday, WorkMed clinics are closed on weekends and holidays

• While not a requirement, we would enthusiastically welcome the opportunity to consider a provider fluent in Spanish
