Job summary

Intermountain Health’s Layton Workmed clinic is seeking a board-certified Occupational Health Physician to join a collaborative team. This part-time role involves 4 x 9-hour clinical shifts per week at Layton, UT, performing work fitness assessments, pre-employment physicals, and acute injury care including laceration repair.

Preferred candidates may be Board-certified in Occupational Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Family Practice with US residency training. Fluency in Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Board-certified Occupational Medicine: required or preferred; EM or FP acceptable
• Board certification currently in the U.S. in relevant field
• Willingness to work 4 x 9-hour shifts per week at Layton Workmed

Responsibilities

• Conduct fitness-for-duty/work examinations and pre-employment physicals
• Provide acute injury care including laceration repair
• Collaborate with a 13-clinic occupational health service line for support and coverage

We are seeking a board-certified Occupational Health Physician to join a collaborative group of providers in Layton, UT at our Intermountain Health Workmed clinic. This is an opportunity to join a Service line made up of 13 Occupational Health clinics in the Intermountain Medical Group with excellent collegiality and peer support. As a part-time provider, we are searching for a physician who is interested in working 4 x 9-hour clinical shifts per week. Our Workmed physicians perform fitness assessments for work examinations, pre-employment physicals, and acute injury care including repair of lacerations.

Job Information:

One BC/BE Occupational Medicine (preferred), Emergency Medicine, or Family Practice physician needed to work at our Layton location, with an option to flex to some of our other Wormed locations throughout the state of Utah

Successful completion from U.S. ACGME Residency/Fellowship

Clinical shifts will be performed on weekdays, Monday through Friday, WorkMed clinics are closed on weekends and holidays

While not a requirement, we would enthusiastically welcome the opportunity to consider a provider fluent in Spanish
