Schedule: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday
Join our client as the Assistant Medical Director, providing leadership in occupational health policy and overseeing the Medical Department. This full-time role includes conducting physical assessments, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and supervising medical staff.
Responsibilities as the Assistant Medical Director:- Medical Examinations: Serve as a Medical Examiner, performing DOT and non-DOT physical exams, and interpreting tests and diagnostic images.
- Supervision: Supervise Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners, ensuring compliance with OHS programs and regulatory standards.
- Consultation: Provide consultation to HR and senior leadership on occupational health matters.
- Staff Management: Manage and supervise the medical professional staff, including chart reviews and performance evaluations.
- Policy Development: Develop and implement policies and procedures for medical operations, ensuring staff adherence and compliance.
Qualifications for the Assistant Medical Director:- Education: Medical Degree from an accredited medical college.
- Experience: 5 years in Occupational Health, including 2 years in Leadership.
- Certification: DOT Examiner Certification required.
- Skills: Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Preferred: Board Certification in Occupational Medicine and MRO certification.
