Job summary

CAREonsite, a division of Tang & Company, is seeking a Physician Assistant (PA-C) or Nurse Practitioner (NP-C/NP-BC) for a part-time role in occupational medicine. You will evaluate, diagnose, and treat work-related injuries, perform DOT exams, and collaborate with an onsite team to keep workers healthy and productive.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited PA/NP program, current license in the state, board certification, and BLS (ACLS optional).

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.
• Current, unrestricted PA or NP license in the applicable state.
• Applicable board certification.
• BLS certification; ACLS acceptable.
• Experience in occupational medicine is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, treat, and manage work-related injuries and illnesses, including workers’ compensation.
• Develop conservative, evidence-based treatment plans for safe recovery and return to work.
• Maintain high-touch communication with injured workers, employers, client representatives, and the CAREonsite clinical team.
• Provide in-person and telemedicine care in collaboration with onsite staff.
• Perform DOT examinations and pre-employment fitness-for-duty evaluations.
