Job summary

CAREonsite, a division of Tang & Company, seeks a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner for a part-time role focused on occupational injuries and return-to-work programs. The position offers an attractive pay range and opportunities to practice meaningful medicine with clinical autonomy and physician support.

You will evaluate and treat work-related injuries, develop evidence-based plans, communicate with workers and employers, and document in the EMR.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.
• Current, unrestricted PA or NP license in the applicable state.
• Applicable board certification.
• Current BLS (CPR/AED); ACLS acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, treat, and manage work-related injuries and illnesses, including workers’ compensation cases.
• Develop conservative, evidence-based treatment plans that support safe recovery and return-to-work.
• Maintain high-touch communication with injured workers, employers, client representatives, and the CAREonsite clinical team.
• Provide in-person and telemedicine care in collaboration with onsite staff.
• Perform procedures such as suturing, injections, immunizations, and minor surgical tasks.
• Conduct DOT examinations and other job-related medical assessments.
• Document timely, accurate clinical information in the EMR and promote quality and safety.
