Job summary

CAREonsite is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to evaluate, diagnose, and manage work-related injuries, with emphasis on stay-at-work strategies and return-to-work goals. The role offers clinical autonomy with physician support and a focus on occupational health within a network of clinics.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in occupational or urgent care settings, doctor-level procedural skills, and the ability to work independently within licensure.

Qualifications

• Experience in occupational medicine, emergency medicine, or urgent care preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and procedural skills.
• Ability to practice independently within licensure.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, treat, and manage work-related injuries and illnesses, including workers' compensation.
• Develop evidence-based treatment plans to support safe return to work.
• Maintain timely communication with workers, employers, and care teams.
• Utilize clinical protocols and referral pathways.
• Provide in-person and telemedicine care in collaboration with onsite staff.
