Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking an Occupational Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for locum tenens coverage in Stockton, California. The role is a day-shift position with a Monday–Friday 8a–5p schedule and patient volume of 20–25 per day in an urgent care clinic setting.

California-licensed clinicians with BLS, DEA and DOT credentials are preferred. Credentialing can be completed in about two weeks, and AMN Healthcare offers support with malpractice insurance and travel arrangements.

Qualifications

• California medical license required and in good standing.
• BLS, DEA and DOT credentials needed.
• Board certification preferred for occupational medicine.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational medicine care in urgent care setting.
• Perform patient assessments and treat common work-related injuries.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support patient care.

This facility is seeking an Occupational Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant(NP) for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details & requirements for this opportunity:

• Schedule: Monday – Friday 8a-5p
• Patients per day: 20-25
• Practice Setting: Urgent Care Clinic
• State Licensure: California state medical license, Basic Life Support (BLS), Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Board Certified and Department of Transportation (DOT).
• Credentialing Timeframe: 2 weeks
